i do worry bout nas when merlin plays, with merlin out nas has had free role and tbh has been outstanding, sticking him on wing narrows him too much imo, i would have started with nas and if needed then bring on merlin, after all merlin is lacking match fitness.

Would have picked Lescott vs Giroud.

Would have played Milner instead of Negredo as well and gone with 1 up top. Arsenal are probably the best team in the PL at keeping possession and have 3 nimble CMs.

Pellegrini's team could blow them away but it's a gamble, not unlike the Munich team at home.

This is City's best 11.

if there is a type of striker MDM is good for, it is Giroud. He is a skilled but not necessarily fast nor the strongest. MDM is a better matchup than Lescott. As positioning is key.
