City vs Barca - Post Match Thread

For anyone at the ground who hasn't seen a replay, it wasn't a penalty (it was outside the box) and Barcelona gained possession through a foul on Navas that wasn't given.

As always good effort.. not our night.

we got the toughest draw possible, unlucky.

Down to Demichelis for me. It's drilled in to our team, let alone a professional club - take the goal, don't take the red card. Due to him stupidly being sent off we had to sacrifice Kolarov who was keeping Alves quiet. Was a strong and assured performance until that silly decision.

Picked tonight of all nights to be collectively, technically poor all over the pitch and we struggled to find a pass all night.

what fucking game were you watching? we just caused the best team in the world all sorts of problems with 10 men, the lads were terrific....what were you expecting, to go out there and dominate barca in possession? im proud of the lads, they put in a great shift and on another night could easily have been 1-1. with aguero back its not impossible in the nou camp......bayern went there and won 3 or 4 nil last season.

Gutted. Demichelis threw this tie away.

Still a 2nd leg, and with Aguero back. Nastasic or Lescott?

Pathetic no knowledge comment

Why is it?

Majority of the first half we chased shadows yet when we won the ball, we didnt have the same authority we normally have and had players giving it away far too easily, especially against a side like Barca.

No issue with the fight and passion tonight but we didnt help ourselves imo when in possession.

all honesty cant see us doing them 3-0, 2-0 yes for sure
but tbh gd game let down by a dodgy ref and he who needs no mention. but we had our chances, showed we are a force to be reckoned with, just need a decent cb, which has been our issue this season.

onwards and upwards looking forward to kun coming back and winning at the nou camp

Wtf is Robbie Savage on about "This game could have ended 4-0 easily. They have torn Manchester City apart with 10 men." Was the long haired **** watching the same game I was?
