Zinchenko and Garcia played very well,both very composed and controlled in possession and they kept the game flowing with their vision and passing.I also thought Luiz and Foden looked much better than their previous outings,the former putting himself about while beginning some decent moves and the latter being far more creative and dangerous in his approach play.

I have a suspicion Bernabe will be a star,17 years old.....but he looks to have everything in his locker in terms of ability and attitude.

With that hair and his left foot, he has a bit of Messi about him! We can only hope!!!
 
Fingers crossed for Foden and Mahrez.
Shame that they will not be part immediate Chelsea game.Hopefully injuries aren't long term and we have them back for start of season.
Hamstrings are tricky, hopefully Foden will be there

Obviously likening him to such a beast of the game is mental......but i can see why you have made that comparison,some of his movement looked incredible tonight,something that comes natural to the very best.

I can see why Barca are very upset.

When I saw his mop, it made me think. When I saw how he shaped himself for that left footer he put just over the bar, I said, “Whoa, I’ve seen that shape before!”

Not fair to the lad, tbh, as no one will ever be Messi ever again, but when someone flashes a memory like that, it brings a smile to the face to see him in a City shirt, with a potential 10-15 year career ahead of him!

Great win. Didn’t expect that. Puzzled by Sane’s lack of game time. Not sure whether Pep is happy with him or not happy with his fitness or protecting him or what?
