So so so proud of the lads tonight. Such a professional performance, a clean sheet, home record till well intact, yes it wasn't the first Bayern team but that was still never to be an easy match.

Full credit to Napoli, they deserved it. Hope they do well in the competition :)

Played well tonight, shame it didn't go our way in Villarreal.

All in all, we had the hardest CL group in recent memory and finished with 10 points. In almost every group in every year of the CL, this would be enough to have put us through.

Can't help but think that that second goal we conceeded in Naples cost us everything.

We'll be back next year, and I like the Europa League as a competition, there's certainly no shame in it and it would be an excellent opportunity to win a major trophy. Especially if we got United in the final :)

Proud of the lads tonight but we made too many mistakes in previous games so it's our own fault really.

On a brighter note we could now face the scum in the Europa, and Vidic has a horrible injury. Swings and roundabouts.

Forget the Europa League let suarez, razak, asulin, rekik, savic etc play and get experience.

We did ourselves proud on our first outing in CL, toughest group yet still managed 10 points plus a decent ref in 1st Bayern game it could have all been so different.

Set our sights on premier league glory now lads and roll on CL next year :)
