What an incredible game. No point in saying anything about Aguero since I can add nothing new.
But some great performances tonight. Fernando was excellent, Lamport too. Navas a real threat and Jovetic made a real impact.
Without Silva and Yaya, that was some performance.

Let's hope we kick on now, get the belief flowing, and the defence sorted, and I'd love to get The Beast back in the form he was in at the start of last season, we need a tough foil to Aguero's guile, Dzeko isn't quite ruthless and mean enough.
What a player though! carrying the team at the moment through a really difficult patch, if we can get playing the way we were last season! It could get interesting at the top.

Munich may have been down to ten men,but look at the players we were missing Silva,toure,fernandinho, kolorov,dzeko and zab didn't come on until late on....oh and lampard worked his socks off,probably deserves to start against Roma...

We were good-ish in stages. Very shaky in the first 10 or so minutes, then a decent period up to the five minutes before HT (disastrous period, that).
