A lack of penetration but Birmingham are playing with ten men parked around their eighteen yard box, it's patient and we are getting good balls into the box but this is the problem with playing Tevez as a lone striker in these types of games. Johnson has been pretty poor all half, this is the reason he stays on the bench. As much as I like him he's not performing when he's given the chance to start.
This has not been the horrendous display that some of you are making it out to be. Yes it's a little slow in the build up but you'd be complaining that we're just lumping the ball up to Tevez constantly if we went more direct. We should be 2-0 up in this game had Tevez's counted and Johnson had got his head up. The passing needs to be speeded up a little but we still need to maintain our patience and keep probing when the opportunities do present themselves.

It's strange, these are exciting times for us as a club but the football is so fucking dull. I can take dull football if it gets us results though it is a shame that having spent so much on attacking players we seem happy to scrape results.
