how even our most expensive of superstars chase after the ball and swarm defenders up 3 goals in the 85th minute is a sight to behold. Anyone would be hard pressed to beat us in this form.

blackburn didn t score..... we were flying. it was one of those games where you thought it was close to half time with only 20mins on the clock. showed we were playing fluent football. i am delighted after today.... vinny was unlucky not to score a cracker- if not for robinson. city were amazing today and seem back to playing well and looking happy as a team like we were at the seasons start.

Yaya 101 of 103 = insane... like I said too many on this forum were focusing on the return of the wrong player (Tevez instead of Yaya). And let me repeat one more time, I REALLY hope Tevez doesn't return into the team and messes up the team spirit that's only getting better and better! Back to Yaya. Yaya's absence is immense to this team. Some don't see that, and quite frankly a whole lot of it goes unnoticed, but he provides that "1st pass" to Silva/Nasri/etc... to me, easily one of our very best, irreplaceable, players!

oh and 1 more thing, for those that give Dzeko a hard time... how about that for you "fans"??? He's got just 3 goals less than Aguero (16 to 13), yet he's played a whole lot less than Aguero in the PL this season. Like I've always said, Dzeko is just fine, he's class, it's that our squad's style of play doesn't suit him. He needs good wing players that will whip in all kinds of crosses for him. We don't provide him with that, so you can't possibly fault the guy for it.

Kolarov's crosses were nice (it really is too bad he lacks pace, esp. on the defensive end, because I think he's a more complete player than Clichy otherwise). Zaba had a good game as well.

Every player did well today and very difficult to pick a man of the match, my choice is Zabaleta.

Very pleased for Kolarov as well, I think the guy has a future at this club with performances like that. De Jong also caught my eye today, solid perfomance. Very pleased he's getting regular games again and more than justifield his selection.

We looked like champions today.
