We have to go for the win because Juve have to go to Sevilla away with Sevilla likely playing for a Europa League spot, especially considering how well they have done in yay competition in recent years.

I thought a draw would have been a fairer results in the away tie at Gladbach. Hart had another top notch game which had he not done could have and probably would have left us with another Champions League defeat.

I am intrigued by this game as we are very unpredictable and Gladbach seem to be on a roll at the moment. To beat Bayern 3-1 even at home is some achievement.

Haven't lost since they changed managers and they have to lose sometime but probably even a win for us and we might still not top the group.

I wonder if TH is as confident as I read about this outcome after we got done in Turin.

Lets face outside Seville away we have been walking on egg shells for the most part.

Our early season form which as we know was a bit flattering considering how Chelsea have gone has been poor even with the injury list and MP now refers to it ad nauseam when either saying he doesn't use it as an excuse or a reason or more lately as an excuse or a reason which is what bears a marked similarity to albeit on a different level that Leslie and RM were tauting before they got the flick.

This is a critical game for MP in more ways than one.

We don't deserve to finish top and I don't think we will but if we get towelled up at home and Swansea sack Monk during the week we could be seeing our Sunderland and Wigan mark three come Saturday.

MP can afford to lose with some effort on Tuesday but cannot afford to drop points on Saturday or his fate will be sealed.

We know our owners don't pay much regard to contracts they expect much better than the dross we have served up this season especially in the past 10 premier league games in the main and going through because we happened to get the rub of the green with other results won't cut it either.

The two results they will look at is Juventus at home when we were in good form and they were not and Juventus away.

I don't think MP has lost the dressing room by any stretch but the players once again are not doing justice to the very privileged position they are afforded.

Spurs , Liverpool , Stoke and friendlies against Real Madrid and Stuttgart albeit friendlies but nevertheless showcasing our brand to overseas crowds and audiences is just not good enough by any standard.

They will act if we have any more.

I see everyone is brimming with confidence.

Its the players attitude and confidence and MP's desire to get the right reaction which is becoming a reaction required all to often this season that I am more concerned about.

The effort against Stoke doesn't even register on the scale of non effort , it was a complete and utter shambles.

Not that I care one jot but the press are in for the kill on this side as we are seeing on more than one occasion now and we are only 15 games into the season that you only draw reference to the days under SP anf KK in his latter stages and even then they gave something that indicated they should have showed up.

Hart, Sagna, Ota, Manga, Clichy, Delph, Ferna, Navas, Sterling, KDB, Silva.

Silva and KDB furthest forward. Sterling and Navas helping out Ferna and Delph in midfield.

Any player that needlessly punts the ball forward is sacked.

If Gladbach run further than us as a team, fine them all a weeks wages.

I have the same feeling. Especially if MDM plays or Fernando in a 2

You won't have to worry about Fernando , he has done his hammy.

The side picks itself unless he drops Bony and goes without a frontman which I actually think is our best chance of being competitive.

It has all the hallmarks of another home defeat but Swansea , Arsenal and Leicester will determine MP's fate for sure or give him a leave pass until the transfer window.

Its not necessarily impossible to get 1st but highly unlikely.. Plus the form that we're in, it will be difficult. Unless we come out on fire

I don't see gim getting the sack unless we are under serious threat of not making top 4.
