our best available team should have been creamed 6-0 in both the stoke and dipper games , and BMG are a far better side. If we play a young enthusiastic and energetic team we might be pleasantly surprised , and i think the crowd would really get behind some of our younger players , rather than the usual f*cking moaning we get at the Etihad for Bony and company............... ............jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez
Total tosh. What does "should have" mean? So Joe Hart is somehow not allowed to make saves? We "should have" had a penalty for handball yesterday. DeBruyne "should have" made it 1-1. At the end of the day, completely meaningless statements.

I find it amazing that a City fan doesn't care about such an important match. If we top the group it will mean a huge difference for the last 16 draw.

Agreed. The fact that this is not an ultra-critical game makes it even more important to get a good result to break the negative spiral and try and build some confidence for the 3 upcoming league games which really do matter. We hopefully have Aguero and Kompany coming back which would make a world of difference if they stay fit (a big if I know, but gotta think positive)

Juventus won't lose, that's almost certain. I hope MP rests the "tired" players and play for a 0-0, with all the emphasis on defending. Need to learn to defend first and foremost or else another set of 4-1's are awaiting us against Leicester and Arsenal aways.

Glad you are not playing, it doesn't work like that, you can't pick and chose which games to be bothered about and not bothered about, although it seems like it at the moment.( I'm talking about the players here)
A good win against Gladbach should install confidence in the players, and if we finish top it would give the players a lift for the tough xmas period.
We can them forget about the champions league for 2 pr so months and concentrate on the league and both domestic cups.
Id like to see us play this side

You won't have to worry about Fernando , he has done his hammy.
The side picks itself unless he drops Bony and goes without a frontman which I actually think is our best chance of being competitive.
It has all the hallmarks of another home defeat but Swansea , Arsenal and Leicester will determine MP's fate for sure or give him a leave pass until the transfer window.
Although i tend to asagree with you Pellegrini will never, ever go with a false 9 unless forced to. Bony will start. ( Bojan was a false 9 yesterday but we'll let Pellegrini believe playing Bony is more effective )

Point still stands, we got outplayed and for the money spent, you could categorise the performances as embarrassing. I'm not saying they are, just I wouldn't begrudge anyone saying so, like others do.
