I agree with you I just dont think the board will move till they get Pep
Could get an interim manager assuming and its huge if Pep has already agreed to start next season as our manager.
While its says little regarding the players conviction to work for each other and the manager and the supporters etc maybe a fresh face even for the remainder of the season is better than sticking to an approach that too easily comes unstuck in a big way when it does.
Benitez did ok in a similar role at Chelsea and it didn't seem to hurt his cv at all in fact it on the face of it helped him.
Who knows they might do well enough to get an extension particularly if Pep doesn't want to come across.
Sometimes you just have to admit it wasn't the best idea to continue with a man whom appears to be heading the same way as he two predecessors.
We tend to go into games with the wrong mindset.
You knew we were cactus from the outset yesterday the game was over after 6 minutes and MP once again had no answer as to what to do about it.
How many more of these insipid efforts will we have to tolerate before the board finally act because there are more to come.
We are on our worst scoring run away from home in 7 years and already 4 points worse off than last season when we went on our run until Burnley.
I thought MP was after attacking football where possession counted for something , we have seen little of that against inferior sides this season.
If we are pressed and lose possession Hart is left to fend for himself.
