Yeah and ive been going since i was a nipper first game in 1969 , it's about getting there and supporting your team and the more of us there and backing the boys the better if you think playing in a half empty ground is better than a full bouncing ground then you're a clown,players respond to an atmosphere and we shoild be turning up to create that.

Not sure I said its better.....I said I was indifferent to it because I can't control it. I don't let is dampen my enjoyment of watching this team. Some people can't afford to go week in, week out. Some people are lucky can. Also refer to my other post re: tourists and glory hunters etc...

I agree, but most large 50,000+ stadiums are about 60% full of genuine fans and 40% full of tourists/glory hunters/corporate etc. We don't have this 'extra' section to our crowd yet week in, week out. My guess is it will come (some will say unfortunately).

Very true, we do NOT have many tourists or day trippers or indeed out of towners, we are for whatever reason an unfashionable club who don't have buses turning up from obscure towns up and down the land or hordes from across the Irish Sea. When the regulars don't tip up for games there aren't enough casual fans to take up the slack.

It is possible pricing last year has made a few people opt out of the cup schemes. Prices are fine so far this year but sometimes when your decision is made then it is made and that's that. I'm sharing one this year with my lad. I'm going to this one, he is going to the other two. I may decide to pop along to one of them but depends on how my week is looking. I spent over £200 last year on 6 games by being in the scheme and only went to 3 so a waste of money for me.

Attendance was 41,800 against BMG last year: looks like it will be lower this time, unless there's a surge of ticket sales in the final 24 hours.

Maybe drawing them two years running has dampened enthusiasm? Pity, as it was a great game and good atmosphere as I recall.

I go to as many as I can but unfortunately this and the celtic game fall on my on call week.im sure theres plenty that would like to go but have work commitments midweek.
