Need more Asian tourists that are there for selfies instead of a football match and a few beers, that'll solve the problem.And there in lies the attendance problem ;-)
may be a factor, but the university hasn't started yet (am student at the uni) and the students union normally sell £10(maybe a little more) ticket for the cup games, maybe they do the same of the CL. So it could be a few hundred, possibly thousand, students that would come if the game was a week later..
the benefit really of the students union selling it is the advertising they do. appeals to the international studentsits only 15 quid though for 18-21 year olds.

yeah im not so sure how much difference it makes, quite confused as to why the attendance isn't high.. best make sure to get myself some tickets as to not sound like a hypocrite though hahamaybe but i dont think it makes a big difference. id usually buy my tickets from manchester met uni and they always had lots left over. besides at 15 quid locals or non uni students this is a great deal.
