City vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach pre-match thread

I fail to understand the logic.

You enter our stadium and pay the ferryman because of your love for all that is City.
How then does our first game attract such a smaller interest than say the Barca game in our first round tie.
City will take the field in both games will they not ?

The conclusion can only be that a lot of support only turn out for the glamour.
Are all City games not big glamour games ?
The oppertunity is still available for a paltry 20 sobs to watch and cheer on the best thing that has ever happened to planet earth since sliced bread.

Now where did I put my camera ?

Why the hell do City close the online ticket office the day before the game?

This is the 2nd time I've noticed them do this.

Just checked. I had to log-in but they are still on sale. Ticket sales are terrible. I'm going, but I'm not looking forward to sitting in a half empty ground on CL night.
 
Got to go to my daughters training tomo so got a spare ticket. Will be in town all day until 6 ish (ancoats area) - free to a good home or Andy h!!

Hahaha! Not looking forward to it? Just take in the fucking match like a normal person and don't worry if the seat next to you is empty.
Seriously, the way people go on you'd think there was going to be 20,000 there. I bet it's 40,000+
One day after cleaning up trophies we'll get the day trippers and fill the ground every CL game but the harsh reality is we're not at that point yet. We have a hardcore following and others who pick and choose. Getting yourself het up about it isn't healthy. Go, do your bit and support the boys and go home.

Got tomorrow off so I'm going to the youth game first and will more than likely go down and get a ticket for the main event early tomorrow.
