Really clueless about this one going with

Bravo
Zabba Stones Otamendi Clichy
Fernando
Navas Silva. Delph. Sterling
Aguero

If Gundogan is fit him for Delph and could see Sane in for Navas. DeBruyne Fernandinho and Nolito all looked like they gave the derby everything they had think Pep will give them a rest. Its a long season ahead.

Important to start of group with a win, especially at home.

Hope Pep is able to test those that need it the most & still puts out a competitive, winning side.

Kev definitely needs a rest

Silva and Fernandhino maybe

Bravo
Zabaleta
Otamendi
Stones
Kolarov
Fernandhino
Gundogan
Sane
Sterling
Silva
Aguero

Is what I think will play

far more important than the game just gone. Our second team can beat Bournemouth at the weekend so full strength and swap the full backs.

Bravo
Zab Stones Ota Clichy
Fernandiho Fernando
Sterling Silva Nolito
Aguero

Navas, Sane, Iheanacho ready to come on when needed.

Bournemouth

Bravo
Sagna Stones Ota Kolorov
Gundogan Fernando
Navas Silva Sane
iheanacho

Silva can have a rest against Swansea in the cup. Hopefully Debruyne will be back by then as I really don't want to see Yaya again.

Pep is a very cautious coach when it comes to CL matches, he'll play as many first 11 players as possible. I can't see Pep using fresh Navas or Delph to replace our either exhausted (KdB, Silva, Nolito) or unfit (Sane) players. Sterling played only 60 mins in the derby, so he'll definitely feature. Maybe Sane is to be subbed on later . Ilkay's fitness is questionable, can't see him starting. Shame that we can't rotate, our CL squad carries too many 'passengers' (Delph, Navas, Fernando) who are useful only as subs or League Cup players.

Bravo
Zabaleta Otamendi Stones Clichy
KDB Fernandinho Silva
Sterling Aguero Nolito

Subs: Caballero, Kolarov, Fernando, Delph, Gundogan, Sane, Iheanacho

Absolute rubbish on both counts. We cannot afford to under-estimate the likes of Bournemouth and, for me personally, winning the Premier League easily trumps progressing in any Euro competition. Can you name all the sides which reached the Quarter Finals last season? I would rest Silva, KDB and Fernandinho on Tuesday.

i think they said on the commentary and I also spotted it myself that KDB was holding the back of his hamstring.....i think it was only very minor and probably due more to fatigue than over stretching for something as it happened on that very last run where he made a burst between a couple of utd defenders....

either way he def needs a rest.........

cant see Kompany or Ilky starting on Tuesday if they weren't fit enough for the bench for the derby....maybe one or both will be on the bench but i get the feeling we are being extra cautious with Kompany as Pep mentioned something about the results from his bloodworm and waiting for those before deciding anything...they are obviously going to all lengths to check he is 100% before letting him anywhere near a competative match even though he has been back in full training (i think?) nearly 2 weeks.

Sane should hopefully start though (maybe instead of KDB)

Kun will obviously play as he cant play in the prem anyway

Im guessing Pep will rotate the fullbacks as well with zabba and clichy playing

maybe even delph for fernandihno (though i think the drop off in quality is too much for that personally)

You're wrong I'm afraid. Lose this game and we are practically out of the competition. I don't know about you but I'd prefer to get through and pocket the £50 million that comes with getting into quarters. That money buys players like Stones, Debruyne, Sane and keeps us ahead of our rivals.

ps
City,
Madrid x2,
Barcelona,
Wolfsburg,
Savilla,
Bayern,
PSG
