Sit dinho and eli on Saturday so they can use a yellow against the rags and only miss the Palace league cup match.

1894 PLANS FOR BOURNEMOUTH

If you are in the south stand lower don’t be shy, get involved on the concourse before the game and please take it out into the stand.

Bournemouth is like Watford, West ham, Newcastle. A game where people are expecting a win and will probably sing when we score.

Why can’t it be like the Chelsea game. Sing regardless ?

We need your help guys, no matter what part of the stadium you are in. It doesn’t matter who is making the noise as long as someone somewhere is doing it and other fans are joining in.

We are going to try and lift it again this Saturday. So please remember :

We don’t have a divine right to win every game no matter how much we’ve spent.

The players need our backing and our patience. Teams park the bus at our place and up to us to make it intimidating for the opposition team.

Being a City fan is about passion. It actually doesn’t really matter what the score is. It didn’t matter in the bad old days. We sang regardless and we were persistent.

Don’t be shy and don’t be scared of shouting out loud. Have that extra beer and let yourself go. CITY TIL WE DIE.

Are you paying for that extra beer? :D

Come on Blues... Sing for 90mins

Regardless of the Fernandinho situation, I'd like to see Fernando play. He was showing some fine form before the break, dare I say glimpse of the form which earned him his 'octopus' nickname. If Toure is fit then I'd go for Toure and Fernando. If he isn't then I'd start with Fernando and Fernandinho, instruct Fernando to take on the main role of breaking up the play and then switch Fernandinho for Evans once we feel comfortable. I genuinely feel that if Toure is injured and Pellegrini knows about the Fernandinho booking (I'd like to think he does, but after that CL gaff...), we might actually see Evans get some minutes.

Then again, we're talking about Manuel, he'll probably stick Demichelis in midfield.

if delph is fit and needing match fitness I would play him in this game. all depends on yaya as well to be honest but dinho MUST NOT play!

A lot of very silly comments on this thread. Bournemouth are a newly promoted team who will have been counting the days to playing a top side in the premier league. This will be like a cup final for them and they'll do everything they can to cause an upset. Add to that the fact we're already without Silva and Aguero, and potentially Yaya and Kolarov as well and there's little point worrying about anything other than the next game we have. It's worth 3 pts and it won't be an easy game. Bournemouth's style of play is about getting the ball wide and attacking with pace - exactly the way we usually concede at home. We've dropped points at home in games like this in recent seasons so we need to make sure we win it.

The CL game is crucial but with what is at stake for that game and the derby we should get a performance out of whoever plays. We've beaten the rags with a much lesser side and no matter what the injury situation we'll have enough to win this game. If we play well against Bournemouth then Fernandinho shouldn't be needed beyond 65mins and shouldn't pick up a card in that time. But it would be silly not to start with the best possible team. It's by no means a certain win for us, and we can't afford to drop points.

I wouldn't be surprised to see MP playing otamendi in this and swamp game, wasn't he bought to deal with small nippy dribblers ie Tony Marshall?
