City vs Cardiff Post Match Discussion

Thought we were quite poor today and fair fucks to Cardiff, they did well.

Not bad though that we still score 4.

AK's defensive deficiencies shown up today, doesn't help that Silva isn't any help as cover.

Dzeko did well today, pleased for him.

Someone said we had 20 attempts on goal, he failed to mention that we only had 9 on target. cardiff had 6 shots on target. we cannot be conceding so many chances against relegation fodder. the defence is real concern.

Well that should make him cheaper! Disagree with you though. He clearly has the ability because he's done it, it must be a matter of consistency, and Pellers could draw that out. Being left-footed, would make an excellent left-wing complement to Navas (if he can do crosses as well)?

Can't believe what I'm reading - player has a decent game against us so therefore we should sign him on the back of that LOL!

Thats it with some CIty supporter they have'nt got a clue
So speaketh the 'Sir Matt Busby way 'Pedestrian..

I call WUM

One for all the stattos: we've now scored exactly as many (competitive) goals under MP as we did in the entire course of Pearce's reign.

Must say many are very nickpicking in their minds... a win is a win... and we where very dominating today... for cardiff to make 2 goals was quiet an achievement... not many chances for them while we had lots of chances and 2 penalty decisions going against us... 4-2 is still a win and 3 points... for me navas is a real treat to watch this season... amazing winger!!! Love watching our freeflowing play and full throttle going forward!! this season is sooooooo special and I love it!!

Don't be such a drama queen. The defence isn't that much of a concern it's just the way we play. We are setup to attack attack attack and if that means allowing another premier league team a whole six shots on target then so be it. And those stats of 20 shots don't tell the full story, there were loads of times the ball was in dangerous areas in and around their box but we might not have got a shot off for one reason or other.

We barely got out of first gear, scored four which could have been ten and it's another home win; 11 in the bag now and just 8 to go before we go 100% on the season. All whilst scoring goals for fun and rotating the team brilliantly whilst managing to keep all of the players happy even though the press keep trying to bring up the 3 strikers in form it's a 'headache' bollocks.

I'm not sure football can get better than what we're watching at the moment. Long may it continue!

I don't get it. Why am I a WUM ? I'm just pointing out that the defence was bad .. I am really concerned about the defence. The next few weeks will be crucial and it is important that the defence is solid.
