Thought we looked a bit 1 dimensional without Nasri/Fernandinho. We resorted to long balls and just getting the ball out wide for Navas/Kolarov to cross for the majority of the game. Definitely not the usual penetrative, defense splitting passing game that we're used to

But it's a good job Manuel has introduced that wide threat though because under Mancini I think we would've struggled to get all 3 points here.

A fully fit Jovetic would be a Godsend right now.

Didn't seem to hinder us too much though, we created plenty of chances. I am excited to see what Jovetic will bring to the side in a creative sense, especially with Nasri out for now.

Thought first half we were great, created 6 or so really good chances and should have been out of sight.vSecond half they grew into the game a little and it was getting slightly nervy until we got the third.vOverall a solid performance, good to see Aguero straight back among the goals. That Noone lad gave Kolarov a torrid time, and Demichelis sold himself a few times out of position, again. Garcia played well.

Some tired performances out there today but still had enough in us to win.

Cardiff played out of their skins today, we just had one of those days where we did not really get out 2nd gear, but still won convincingly

A little disappointed that we let them score another, but the game was over by then anyway

Again I thought the atmosphere was really good today lots of singing throughout the game

We ran them ragged in the first half,scored and should have had a hatful.Some of our football was a delight to watch.If i have a criticism i felt we thought it was too easy and started showboating a bit and going for the perfect pass/goal,then they equalised and it woke us up again.

The second half was odd.We seemed content to keep possesion and try and pick them off and it got a bit nervy for a while,our defence always looks like it is going to conceed and that little winger started getting at us.Suddenly,bang bang it was game over.I guess that is what quality sides do,look under the cosh a bit then finish it off.I have to pinch myself we now come into that catagory!
