We have played them twice and lost one undeserved and one deserved, good test for the engineer tomorrow let's see what he is made of, his tactics will tell us more than the result

Not going and not caring about the F.A cup means I'm not too apprehensive about this one, normally I'd be all pessimistic the night before a game but I can see us putting much more of a fight up over this one. Terry will be a big blow and there's no way we're going 3 games without scoring.

Yes, a real test in tactical nouse for pellers..
Has to go 4-5-1, if not we will get done without Ferna.

Yaya, Nasri, Garcia, Silva, Navas as the 5.
Changes after 60 mins if we winning, Rodwell, Richards, Lopes on to give Nasri & Silva a break for Barca..

Would have loved to have seen Milner in there for work rate, is he defo suspended?

Tomorrow will show us if Pellegrini is a manager who learns from his mistakes or one who stubbornly sticks to his guns. Many on here agree whilst he has had a good first season he got it badly wrong against Chelsea and that 2 in midfield just doesn't work against them. I'm looking for a positive response from the manager by suitably changing his tactics and I'm looking for each player who under performed to make up for that. We are very capable of beating them.
Think it's just the Barca game Milner's suspended for.

I won't be too surprised if we put out second string …
Expect, lescott, clichy, nasti,
Garcia, milner , rodwell etc to start.

Fookin absent Pelle thread, FFS.
Just to say, loved his responses to Mourinho/Chelsea in his press today; in summary: 'we will not change our attacking philosophy' & we had it right last time

Love it.
Even if we don't win tomorrow, still love what he said & admire his philosophy.

Agreed. And as much as I love his 'mind my own business' philosophy, I'm starting to get massively irritated with that twat Mourinho....... now calling Wenger a 'Failure specialist'. FFS. How much more lack of class can this guy show?

I really will enjoy when he's gets his eventual come-uppance....... and he will.

Still in 4 comps,a trip to Wembley,3 points off the top with a game in hand, playing the best football I have witnessed and currently having to cope with a hugely influential injury situation - that tells me all I need to know about our manager.

The only players in that group with a chance of starting are Milner , Clichy and Lescott.

Its arguable whether Milner who played against Norwich is second string at present anyway.

Garcia may be on the bench , Nasti is injured and Rodwell he doesn't rate

If we draw do we know when the replay would be? Bet it'll be a 3 games in a week job. We'll end up fucking each other's seasons and letting Liverpool win the league.
