"but I'm a little concerned" How many games has he played..? Give the guy time.

Unbelievable how you can build something up to be 'not too worried yet' and someone still doesn't listen.

I'm giving him time, if I didn't I'd come on saying he's shit.
I'm simply saying he looks uncomfortable for now and I'm interested to see what others think.

TBH City deserved to win. I don't think you played poorly I just think you found it hard to break our defence down. Moyes set up our team to try and get a 0 0 draw, he didn't seem to anticipate Everton would actually have to go anywhere near Citys penalty box. We didn't even create a chance in the game, which is unforgivable. Moyes 4 6 0 formation just simply didn't work, it was obvious you were going to break the deadlock. City have outplayed most teams this season today you faced an opposition with no intention of playing. If you'd beat us 4 0 and totally outplayed us I woudn't of been bothered, the fact is all we did is hoof the ball around and give the ball away. Even after the first goal we made no attempt at trying to get an equalizer, Moyes was more interested in keeping it at 1 0. We just simply have no idea how to attack anymore, not once did we threaten your goal. Our system probably would have worked if we'd had a decent striker like Napoli do to test your defenders. I think most City fans probably understand why our fans are miserable and bitter when w ehave to watch this shite every week. All in all I think City were the better side and the only side on the pitch for most of the 90 minutes. Moyes plays anti football, none of our players can do anyhting except pass the ball sideways or just hoof it.

Fair post fella......Not hard to be truthful is it DSOB ?

Re: Samir Nasri

Very quiet and ineffective today, whoever awarded him MOTM needs their eyesight checking as Silva was wearing 21......

Everton are pure anti football. The media love in with Moyes is ridiculous. Today they got what they deserved NOWT.
Yes we took time to break them down, but once we did it was hilarious seeing them take stoppers off like Neville and Osman for footballers Drenthe and Saha.
Then when they tried to take us on at football Silva takes the mick with the pass of the season so far! Game over.
Moyes will now go and suck up to the media in his attempt to get Vinnie suspended.

Crosses end runs of possession. We are a slow buildup team. This project isn't going to evolve overnight. We need to stick with what has reaped us an undefeated start. Are you willing to watch us cede more pressure to the backline every time a cross whipped in is lost?

of course its gonna take time to find the best line-up with the players we have and the new ones that come in. Silva and Nasri are very smiliar types of players, but i prefer to see Nasri in the middle which is where Silva is, so i think its either or for those 2, but i think we need an out and out winger somewhere just to add more dimension in the play.

Crossing always has the risk of conceeding possession, but having all the possession in the world and trying to play it through a brick wall doesnt get the ball in the net. i'm not saying cross every ball, mix it up. play thru the middle, if that isnt working play side to side, stretch the opposition, create space, if that doesnt work, go wide, get around the back. dont just constantly cut inside, go through the middle where's there's 3 defensive players to block the play.

Re: Samir Nasri

I dont see any cause for concern, his movement is great, he is not playing as a winger he is constantly moving, probing, looking for space. He struggled a bit today because they played 6 defenders and 4 DMs. Im really pleased with his contribution so far

Doesn't Douglas Higginbottom say Mario is our best finisher though?

He has done a great job finishing the last two games. Deflected goal or not, he got it done when we needed it.

Mario's movement today was great too. Good positioning for the goal, and drew his marker out wide with good runs. Almost had an assist. He's also running at players.

Only criticism today was his passing, he had one giveaway. He's improving his passing though, created a good chance. Overall an 8.5/10 for me.

I do not disagree. But Dzeko still holds up the ball much, much better and passes with intent. On his day he is every bit the finisher as well. I love Balo and have defended him many times in the past but I honestly cannot fathom the Balo over Dzeko arguments being made. Opinions should be a least slightly based on evidence and there is just no evidence for the argument.
