As a starter for 10 - Hart, Clichy, Nastasic and Dzeko should be dropped. 1 or 2 others will be looking over their shoulders too and I'd probably start zabba.

Not so sure about Clichy but you are correct with the other non performers.

Lukaku is in form and very dangerous hope our defense steps the fuck up

Frankly anything other than a decking the likes of which we've never seen would be unacceptable. We really must start showing at least SOME indication that we're learning from these mistakes. Having time is one thing, but time do to it is secondary to things like qualifying for the Champions League again. Pellegrini isn't getting a whole season of mincing around scraping 5th with no trophies and being allowed to see us into another season, the fans would see to that if nothing else. If you're going to replace a man genuinely loved by most of the supporters, you better be absolutely damn sure the guy coming in after him is going to be an improvement, because regardless of the reasons for Mancini's dismissal you're going to potentially have some pretty pissed off fans.

I don't care who starts the game, just make sure they're properly set up and motivated to hammer Everton into next week. If we come off that pitch with anything other than a win and some hollow bollocks from Kompany or Micah about being tired or winning that nine times out of ten you can show them the door.

Big game against one our bogey teams and after that disaster we better pull our collective socks up, or the pressure will really begin to mount

They are unbeaten up to now, and Martinez has got them playing some good football

All thoughts and discussion in here please

12:45 KO by the way

Just what we bloody need, bleeding Everton

They might be good but they're not as good as Bayern were tonight!

He needs to prove to us the paying fans all 47,000 of us who will be there on Saturday including me that he is learning, I expect nothing less than a convincing win anything else will be unacceptable to me and I am sure every other City fan

Play Pantilimon, drop Nastasic and put Lescott back in defence. Fernandinho as holding midfield and Negredo or Dzeko up front. Play four across midfield as Bayern did tonight, it's the way forward if you keep pressing the opposition. More like Southampton and Swansea play instead of how we have been shaping recently.

With the quality we have, I'd go with that.

Pantillimon in for Hart, Lescott in for Nasti, Negredo in for Dzeko.

I agree, and push Toure further forward and only play one proper striker.
