Don't know why Dzeko got so much stick for Wednesday he got no service at all!
Kun was just as bad.
Big game tomorrow need a win ,If we don't get it pressure will build on Pellegrini ,He needs time but the pressure will grow if we fail to win.
I'd bring in lescott, silva and milner for nastastic, navas and fernandinho.
I haven't personally seen much stick given to Dzeko, he did fail to win a ball played to him, but every time it was, it was a ball lumped down the middle just to clear our lines so I'd absolve him from much blame. That said Negredo did more in his 20 minutes than Dzeko did in his 70, partly because Bayern had stopped playing as they'd won. As for Aguero, he had little or nothing of the ball, but he didn't come back into an area to get it very often, in complete contrast to the game he played against united, where he worked his balls off back into midfield, but he had just come back after a knock in the united game so I've no idea how that affected him.

I'll be disappointed if we don't start with Aguero and Negredo tomorrow, and I hope that Aguero plays in behind, my team tomorow would be

Hart, Zabaletta, Kompany, Nastasic, Kolorov, Fernandinho, Toure, Navas, Silva, Aguero, Negredo, we must win this game.

I also hope Martinez was out for dinner on Wednesday evening.

actively ignoring g the dzeko thread i guess :P

Saw the press conference earlier today, and I must admit I got the feeling Pelligrini was being complacent about our home games.

I got the impression he thought we didn't need to change anything for our home matches because we've won them all (except against BM of course).

This is a worry for me, it feels like we're going to play the same formation come hell or high water, in which case Everton wll overrun our midfield, so this game could be even more difficult than usual, due to our manager's stubborness.

I normally do, as all it boils down to is I'm Bosnian he should start every week, I'm not Bosnian he shouldn't start every week. Not really much analysis of how and why he is/isn't good.

My biggest problem with him is that he sulks too much, and it ruins his game, because when on form he can be very good, and when sulking he often goes missing. Anyway I don't want to bring that argument into here....

How the hell did you get that impression? Are you sure your not letting your bias against him colour your judgement

I suggest you look at the video, where he starts mumbling about our home results, sounded like complacency to me.
(Question asked about performance in the league games so far, 5 minutes into conference).

Anyway, we will know by 12.45 tomorrow, when the team gets on the pitch we will see if anything has changed tactically.

I suspect no change at all.

Around 5 minutes into conference where he is asked about his assessment of overall league performance so far.

He seemed to take it for granted we will continue to play well and score lots of goals at home.

Would have thought by now (especially after Cardiff and Villa) that you can't take any game for granted, home or away.

I am not getting into a daft argument, it's clearly your perception which is coloured by your opinion of him, lets see how tomorrow pans out
