come on people please Carlos Tevez is a world class player and im never going to be worried if he named as one of the strikers, really think some people expect to much, how good do you want someone to play until you are happy ? i wouldnt mind him playing the deeper role but for someone who works fights creates and scores like he does he MUST be on the pitch

Arguably aguero is as hard working as tevez and can certainly boast about the stout strength, pace and centre of gravity that makes tevez physically effective. We all know Tevez is a world class player but i will like him to be completely ( as a professional) aware of the importance of linking up with other strikers and attackers to produce an attacking approach, which is smooth, flows and works. Today, we saw how that manifested when aguero came on. Last season, you saw how the design of nasri, silva , aguero and dzeko produced ample chances.
Tevez is an important player for us, indisputable but we will be even better with him looking up more often than he does.

And dzeko would be better if he learnt how to actually control a ball. Aguero would be better if his finishing was better and balotelli would be better if he didnt act like a twat half the time he is on the pitch.

All our strikers have ways of becoming better but in the last 2 games Tevez has created 3 of our 4 goals. That is a fact. For me that's good enough as I don't care who puts the ball in the net. The main reason we only won 2-0 today was the piss poor finishing of dzeko and aguero in the last 10 mins....

just how i see it mate, if hes on the pitch for 90mins im always thinking he will make something happen, as he usually does, his no look pass for milner last week (though great finish) and dummy for silva today, its moments of class like that that win games with the added bonus hes not a luxury players

4 points off top, 5 wins on the bounce, 14 goals scored in that run, no goals conceded in the last 4........

Fuck me, some of the negativity on here tonight is unbelievable.

Yep some people's character are negative, but hey that's what makes the world go around... ;)

It was not a brilliant performance by any stretch of the imagination, but it was not a terrible performance either, Fulham gave us a good game. they are good in defence. All in all I am happy with the result

Dzekos ball control may be average ( not as bad as people think), and may not be that good technically, aguero may simply not be as clinical as van persie for instance and balotelli, well... But tevez problems are not technical or footballing limitations, they are more internal and emotional and that is what i talked about on my post just after the match.. I will say this once again, Tevez is probably at odds with yaya toure when it comes to who is the best player in our team.

Absolutely correct.

5 games ago we looked dead and buried and many of us on here wanted to see a reaction from Bob and the players...

...we have seen a very good reaction imo.

The negativity on here is unreal sometimes. Im not here to judge and I know that some people are naturally negative but feck me, youd be forgiven if you thought we had lost that today reading this thread. We never left first gear really, we didnt need to. We dominated the game and if we had needed to step up Im sure we would have. We keep winning games and you cant grumble at that, its what champions do. We are three points worse off than last year and that can be turned around pretty quickly.

Did anybody see the quality of our bench today? It was immense, and yaya is away. The team that started wasnt our first 11 but still more than enough to see off fulham. If we can go through this period unbeaten and within 3 of united while yaya is away, WE WILL win the title of that im certain when he is back

Bryan Ruiz is ridiculously good on the ball. Credit to Fulham for bringing a bit of entertainment and playing without dirtiness of a team like Stoke.
