King Kenny is looking increasingly like... erm, just Kenny

Pull ye selves together and be patient. Liverpool FC is a work in progress. Kenny needs time. If in 6 years we still haven't got Champions League football then we may need a different manager, but until then we need to be patient!!

Dalglish is not going to get 6 years merely to get CL football. The club cannot afford to wait so long and by the time those 6 years have rolled past, Liverpool FC would be an also ran club receding into mid table obscurity. Do people here not understand that time is ticking rapidly against us?! The longer the top 4 are in the top 4, the stronger they get and the weaker and less attractive to top players we become. Without CL football, a new stadium is going to be doubly hard to finance. Without a bigger stadium, the club will have no future as one of Europe's top clubs.

He will get tops another season or two and if there is still no CL football by then, FSG will demand a return on their investment and heads will roll.

Both above from RAWK

To all the poor Liverpool souls trolling the site, why are you suggesting our dominance will last 3-4 years?????

Here's what i have to say to all you dippers...

1) If we win the premier league...we have won it FAIRLY. How have we cheated? Honestly answer. Did we sign someone outside the window? Are the players on performance enhancing drugs? Have we paid out the referees association? NO. So fuck off.

2) It will last for a long, long time. After 10 years the Etihad campus would of been constructed, we will have a fantastic youth and first team set-up. By then the club will be one of the biggest in Europe, thus increasing worldwide attraction and merchandise sales = more money = more profit = more stability in the future.

So if the owners decide to sell in 10 years time, good luck to them. Because the club will be worth as much as United, Liverpool and Barca due to the sheer fanbase.

Enough said.

I like Mancini, classy guy but please don't copy those Barca clowns with the imaginary card waving. Yes he was right to question the ref not dismissing him, but i hate when manages try and get the ref to send players off.

Apart from that great win and i think the PL is in your hands.
wenger never done that then rob, or Kenny when balotelli got a red at Liverpool, fergies another who's done that on a few occasions, it was a sky discussion to hide that spoilt brats disappointment redknapp!

Sorry bud it aint yours to take back i think united have sorted that out over the last 20 years. The spine of your team i feel is no spine at all really.
Not if you harbour real intentions of top 4 footy bud.

Not having a crack there thats just the truth of the matters i replied to and you would be hard pressed to find any fan at any club who would say im wide of the mark on that.

Cheers for coming on though i always like to hear a non ranty view from the oppo.

We seem more than capable of meltdowns between ourselves, (see: Dzeko threads) :D

I have no problems coming onto other forums and having good discussions and i'm slightly surprised that i didn't get alot of abuse.

But, before today we had the best defense in the premiership. Our back for is very good.

Lucas, is one of the most under rated players in the league. He is an absolute machine.

You put out our best possible team.

Reina

Johnson
Agger
Skertl
Enrique

Maxi
Lucas
Gerrard
Bellamy

Suarez
Carroll

That is a good starting position for a team. We then add a Mata/Silva type player and then a striker like Torres from 2 years ago then that is a team that can easily get top 4 football.

I know you think, its another false dawn for us. But it isn't. You can just feel it, something is different. The club lost its identity and Kenny is bringing it back. And he will also bring back trophies and a platform for which our next manager (Jamie Carragher) can take us back to where we were in the 70's and 80's.

Im happy that you are experiencing this success, but i have a very simple question for you all.

Does it feel like your playing football manager but you have added 500million to your balance? You win everything, but it doesn't feel as good as earning the way the game is meant to be played.

Ah, you were doing ok, but then you ended by coming out with the usual bollocks about us not having "earned it". What a load of shit! We've had 15-20 years of Liverpool, the rags, Arsenal and more latterly Chavski benefitting from the closed shop that is the Chimps League to the tune of 30 odd million per year, which in turn effectively ended the Premiership as a legitimate and fair contest. So 'earned' it courtesy of a sugar daddy, or 'earned it' courtesy of a pair of loaded dice? It's all the same in my book. And, of course, as numerous Scousers and rags were keen to tell me 2 years ago....."money can't buy success!"

Just rewatching the game on Sky

It's not only Suarez that's a diving cheating ****, their team is full of them

Spearing 'the hard man' throwing himself to the ground when Barry brushes past him, downing throwing himself to the ground to get a free kick of David, Carroll's theatrical dive in the box

Liverpool you are a disgrace and slowly dismantling the status you had as a top footballing team
