Wake up? What game were you watching? he did loads of work for the team and himself. Arrogant? please dont tell me this is about the goal celebration?

Again i have no idea what game your watching but he did well. Made a few great runs that really showed his speed and dribbling and also got quite a few good shots off. Considering he was in S.America literally days ago and went there with an injury its not surprising he wasn't razor sharp.
 
so assume with Silva and Dzeko rested they will of course start on Tuesday. I wonder if we play one striker or pair him with Mario? Don't think Aguero will start

Really really pleased with the win today.Never going to be easy coming back from 2 weeks travel and internationals and I think it showed a bit in the overall performance as Newcastle had too many good chances.

A few sub par performances and I would say mario was one of them. Great pen though. Milner very good and of course Micah who deserved his MotM award. Great shame about the clean sheet though.Joe will be gutted.
 
Not that I like giving away goals, but it might not be a bad thing in the long run. Instead of feeling invincible, which can lead to trouble down the line (see 5-0 v Sunderland, followed by 0-3 v Liverpool), it keeps the team (and manager) a little dissatisfied, so they keep trying hard in every game, striving for perfection.

However, since we fans don't actually play, it doesn't really apply to us, so we can sit back and enjoy another comfortable victory without worrying about a meaningless Newcy goal at the end (even though it buggers up my Fantasy points...)
 
Not watched it yet i have it recorded so just about to sit down and watch the game..

Well done blues another big test faced and overcome.
 
Fantastic result, Didn't play at the level were capable of and still score 3 goals, Pity we didn't keep a clean sheet.

Micah Richards was outstanding today he gets better and better each week, Gael Clichy had a great game too matched the pace of Sammy Ameobi (Who is is lightening quick) didn't get by Clichy once today. Thought James Milner had a fantastic game too seemed to be everywhere today great work rate.

Bring on Napoli!
 
You exposed our weaknesses without really getting out of second gear. That said, I was reasonably pleased with our performance. Penalty aside Ben Arfa looked as sharp as he has done all season.

Good luck for the rest of the season, although I suspect you wont need it!
