Just watched the highlights again and Barry looked very good. More like what we know he is capable of.

His first high quality game since Villa at home in November. Since then the only thing of note he's done was the winner against Reading, in a game which he was poor and he's been poor for months. He's been frustrating the fuck out of me this season. Hopefully it was just form, and now he's back to his best.

I thought Dzeko did a few decent things today & i can't stand him. Can't do a lot of basic stuff tho like pass to your mate 5 yards away.

I don't like to criticize players especially after we have won, but what is it, with him and those pissing gloves?

Lots of players wear gloves when its cold. Also falling from 7 feet down, they help to cushion the impact.

And I thought he was great in his air duels yesterday, he won most of them.

I think we should drop Silva for the rest of the season and play Lescott as the playmaker. Silva was shocking today and some of Lescott's touches were incredible today.

Lescott sure did have a few quality touch's was nice to see.
