442 works great when you have a striker that can keep the ball (Aguero/Dzeko are shocking at holding the ball up), we have missed that since Negredo left us. It allows other players to flood into the box giving us a better chance of rebounds landing to the feet of a blue.

I agree with this.

Some will want one up front v Barca but for me I don't see why we can't do what Stoke do to us to Barca and go 4-4-2 and hoof it up to Bony for him to flick it on to Aguero.

We can't out play Barca so just play some old school football and get physical playing direct football.

Agree. On 30th Jan. Wolfsburg beat Bayern 4-1. Bayern were playing a suicidaly high line and Wolfsburg just banged it over their heads to a quick forward. Bayern never learned. Result 4-1. If Barca play the high press to us, then instead of panicking in possession just belt it up till they get the message and drop deeper to defend, leaving more space for us to play the ball in midfield. Surely worth a try for a few minutes, cos let's face it, we're shit when we are pressed hard.
