How can that be our best 11 when one hasn't even played for City.
Even playing at home, 442 against Barca will be suicidal

Dont understand hat your saying there

If Kun remains fit I wouldn't be that surprised if Bony didn't get a game until after Barca.

If you read what I have said i have not mentioned playing 4-4-2 against Barca. Our best 11 players has Aguero & Bony up front in a 4-4-2. For the Barca game I have said replace Bony with Fernando to make it 4-5-1. Dont see how this is confusing??

Who are you going to swap Yaya with for the Barca game?

Milner/Navas.

Milner for me personally but I dont pick the team.

I get it with swapping Fernando for the barca game but I find it very strange that you (and others) proclaim Bony to be making up our best 11 when he hasn't kicked a ball yet.

In time I hope and I'm sure you will be right, but it just seems silly to be saying that now.

What happens when we sign Messi? Can we include him in our strongest 11 once he has signed but hasnt played??

Irrespective of who we sign it is rediculous to suggest they be included in "the best team" without having kicked a ball. It is nothing to do with their ability, but how their ability fits with the rest of the team make up. That's not to say it wont happen, but it is somewhat premature to state it has already. Thought that was obvious

I think Kolarov will get a run out to keep Clichy fresh. That's pretty worrying as if Newcastle have anything about them they'll just flood the right hand side. Hopefully the control Yaya gives us with the confidence from the Stoke game will stop that being a problem.

He has to play, Clichy is needed for Barca and Pool, in regards to rotation Yaya's rested himself for the midweek, I think it'll be Kolarov/Clichy/Clichy, Zaba/Sagna/Zaba, Fernando against Newcastle and Barca, Dinho against Barca and Pool. The front positions take care of themselves really.

First of all it is going to be 4-4-2, with Pele it always is 442 for home games, especially when we have all strikers available...

Hart

Zaba
Kompany
Mangala
Clichy

Yaya
Fernandinho
Silva
Nasri

Aguero
Dzeko
(Bony to come in second half)

Knowing Pele he'll go with Aguero and Dzeko, and Bony to come on in second half (if we are leading by 2 maybe even for Aguero). I really don't expect Bony to start the game, not sure why most of you think he is certain in first 11.

Back to 4-2-2-2
-----------Aguero---Bony

--------Nasri------------Silva

------------Dinho-----Yaya

Clichy--Manga--Kompany--Zabaleta

-------------------Hart

For this game I'd go with:

Hart

Zaba
Kompany
Demichelis
Kolarov

Fernando
Yaya

Navas
Silva
Jovetic

Aguero (try to get Aguero and Silva off early if we can, for Bony and Nasri/Lampard)

For Barca:

Hart

Sagna
Kompany
Mangala
Clichy

Fernandinho
Milner
Silva

Navas
Aguero
Nasri (Drop Silva deeper into midfield, or Nasri, to counteract the effect of losing Yaya on our ball retention)

For the Dippers:

Hart

Zaba
Kompany
Mangala
Clichy

Fernandinho
Yaya

Milner
Silva
Nasri

Aguero

Newcastle

hart

sagna
vinny
mangala
kolarov

fernando
yaya
Silva
nasri

bony
aguero

barca

hart

zabba
vinny
demi
clichy

fernando
fernandinho
silva

navas
milner
aguero

could see Bony playing from the off to be honest, especially with the Aguero injury scare at Stoke and Barcelona tie only 2 days later.
