Brandon Barker and Thierry Ambrose trained with first team today.
One of them might be on bench on Saturday or maybe both.

Would love to see Barker get some game time.

Yeah, saw that earlier and very exciting for us fans who want to see some of our youth get a game or two.

I can see at least two EDS lads making the squad on Saturday with Edin and Jovetic out.

What's actually wrong with Jovetic and when is he due back?
I feel for the bloke, as I'm sure he would rather be playing. However, with all the money we've paid, and the experts that can be called on, surely to fucking God someone can figure out what is wrong with the bloke and put him on some sort of regime that would short it out.

All our injuries, and maybe even those of the Rags (they've been fucking hammered as well), make me think sports science is just shite, and you're either lucky with injuries, or you're not.

Haven't we got some freezer or something at the new academy we can put him in?

I reckon Milner will frequently be the furthest man forward. He's a clever runner, and isn't as good at picking a pass as Nasri.Silva or Yaya. Them 3 infront of the 2 Ferns without Milner roaming. Plenty of interchanging is the key.

5-0 we go TOP.. that has to be the aim make a statement before Chelsea go to stoke on monday...

And who will score the 5?

Yaya, Fatboy, Nasri, Mangala and Dave. Wonder what odds I'd get on that?

Whoever made the decision to let Negredo leave on the last day of the transfer window wants a damn good spanking. It was a terrible decision and could cost us.

Normally Palace at home is well within our comfort zone, But I'll take any win now!

Agree with the first part, though if I recall rightly we made hard work of it against Palace last year. I don't think we'll see them parking the bus as much this year and expect a much more open encounter.

Negredo wanted to go.

Exactly - Also:
1. domestic issues
2. Injured until late Oct/Nov
3. FFP required us to omit one foreigner - so obviously had to leave out the injured one
4. FFP - we needed money to ensure future accounts and got good deal for him. FFP now defeated :)

One question to those who know - Why do some of you show Kolorov to play and not Clichy - ?. The last few games he has been outstanding.
and many on here want a settled back 4. OK I know we have lost Vinny and we played Sagna last week.
Lets stick to Zabba , Demi , Mangala , and Clichy - until 1 of them gets injured.
I suppose that if 1 of the central defenders gets injured we will have to rely on Boy Otter.
This FFP nonsence has surely affected our squad . - this is a reference to us loaning out Negredo!!. - who by all accounts won't be coming back.
