A lot of posters omitting Fernando.
I would play him as i think he needs to play against all sorts of PL teams and get into a consistent run of performances.
Also he would make It easier to start Aleks who needs a game and also could be a useful weapon with the width and troublesome low crosses he supplies when getting forward.

I think we need Fernando and Dinho anchoring if we're playing a 4-6-0 of any kind, it's the only way that the front 4 will have complete freedom to leave their shape to make runs in behind if they have complete confidence that there's a good shield behind them.

Ambrose please

This.

I've only seen him play once, on the telly against Bayern, when he seemed to be playing more on the right. Does he normally lead the line?

Yes, I think Vieira is having a few of the kids playing in unfamiliar positions.

Ambrose played wide again against Roma but struggled a little, as soon as Patrick put him central it wasn't long before he scored.

Maffeo, for example is a right back, but Patrick plays him in central defense.

Lot of posters looking to see one or two youngsters kicking a ball on Saturday. I have no knowledge of them so cannot comment, but it does sound like we are treating CP a little lightly.

I appreciate we are deficient up front, but surely we can put fwd a team of experienced talent to take care of them?. We are on the coat tails of the Chavs and I want to ensure we don't compromise that position so soon after gaining points on them.

As I said, I cannot comment on these lads, and will accept better informed opinions if you think they could play and not weaken us

The problem with the Everton and Leicester games was then the injuries to Sergio and Edin came very early or just before the game, so it really messed up the team tactics and the dynamic, I guess in training they have a game plan to rewrite it on the hoof must be very hard (as proven)

However they have had time to work something out this week lets hope it pays off, Palace will be feeling a bit confident with our injury list especially that City hating jealous wanker of a manager of theirs
