City Vs Roma Pre Match Thread

This is Champions League, and we're playing an Italian team....

There are no 'easy' games.

Yes, sometimes teams get big results, and sometimes top teams lose unexpectedly or undeservedly, but make no mistake, before kick off, no game is easy at this level.

1-0 is all it takes - either way. That's enough to almost kill our hopes, or put us right back in contention. Fine lines.... fine lines.

Some of you guys still don't get it. What's all this 4-0/ 5-0/ 6-0 to City business? Roma will not get destroyed trust me on this one. If City do win it will be a hard-fought grind with only one goal being the difference.

I have posted here before, I am a Bosnian who follows all our international players in their respective leagues and I am quite familiar with both Roma and City, I know their strengths and weaknesses and to those insular City fans I say be prepared for a big shock if you think this will be a walk in the park. I even suggested you drop Dzeko and just play Sergio as a lone striker, because you cannot let Roma control possession and midfield. Roma are no typical Italian side, these boys can play football, they can generate quick and dynamic attacks and if Pjanic is on form (and he usually is) Roma will beat City.
I have to disagree with you on this my friend. Roma are a good side there is no doubt. But on our day we are better. I believe we are one of the top five teams in Europe. I think Roma are just in the top ten Imo. I understand and know anything can happen in football. But I see a Home win here. 4-1 4-0. But good luck.

Again, it's not the first time I'm reading it on this forum, there's something fishy going on.

How often do City players have their day? Is it a cyclic event? This must be the reason why Djeko have always had his periods when he scores more, I wonder who is up today, Garcia should be advised at least.

If we win tonight how about singing.(to The addams family tune)

Arrivaderce Roma
Its time to f*ck off homa
Because you have been done A
by the best team in the land

It's beautiful weather at the Etihad.

It's going to be a fantastic night in Europe. Stars in the sky, stars in sky blue....

Da Vinci could never paint a scene as great as the Etihad. Although Botticelli might have managed if he put two nipples on it.
