Sorry if it's already been answered but because we're appealing Nasri's red, does that mean he's available for this game?
Yes, he should be. Until FA brings the definite decision he is available for selection.

With our luck we will appeal Monday morning and they will give their negative decision Monday afternoon just to keep him out of the game :)

Stoke are the Wimbeldon of yester year, fouls, fouls and more fouls, but with that said they do defend well and pump the ball into the opposition box. We can not defend a set piece to save our own lives. We constantly have opposing players left alone in the six yard box for free headers. If we are going to zone mark then Hart needs to be more vocal and assertive, Joe has not played well as of late. The Adam Johnson goal was weak as was the Pilkington goal. Those are balls that he would have saved with his eye's closed last year.

Would love to see a City goal fest against Stoke on new years day. Stoke have a good defensive record but injuries and suspensions are taking there toll recently. Stoke will have no intention whatsoever of trying to win this match so an early goal for us will make life much easier !!!!

A good performance from the ref is vital in this game.

If we get that and the game is played fairly, we will win. The attitude has changed now, just like it did last year after Arsenal. Now we are not looking at image or tables, or who else is doing what where.

Play our own game - one match at a time. Everybody working hard.

Played golf with two mates today, who are Stoke season ticket holders, and they aren't very confident. They are going on Tuesday and have been to all away league games and haven't seen them score a goal yet, so here's hoping for the same, but I told them Stoke would score due to the fact we can't defend set pieces. It will be a tough tough game and one I think is a potential banana skin. People need to give Stoke a bit of credit for what they have done this season, they have some strong players along with players who can win a game for them, so we need to wise up at the back or trouble will be in store.

Speaking as a Stoke fan, I couldn't agree more - let's hope for a strong ref eh? One who doesn't put up with all that falling down for no reason, rolling around feigning injury, constant moaning and whinging about every decision no matter how ridiculous those moans and whinges so obviously are. You know, all that stuff your lot do every game.

If we get that, and the game is played fairly, and you beat us on a level playing field, then fair enough. TBH, you should beat us - but you never know.......:)
