3-0. Come on City!

Pellers has indicated that Eli will not start but otherwise looks pretty good. May also possibly start with Sagna and dependent on Edins injury perhaps Sergio.
I didn't realize Mangala wouldn't start. I would play Sagna if Mangala isn't fit. I didn't think we should start half our back four for the first time.

Sagna Kompany Demichelis Kolarov

Expecting a tough game as usual with Stoke.

I think both fullbacks will be rotated, Fernandinho to get a full game and I think Navas or Milner will play instead of Silva, I say Silva because he will likely be off playing with Spain next week and the week after whereas Nasri has quit international football if I remember correctly, he will be the one that needs to play in my opinion.

We have a big squad now and I think quite a few big name players will be rested and rotated more than last season.

Aguero for me still should be brought back slowly so I still wouldn't start him.

I'd play Kolarov because of his aerial and attacking superiority and also give Fernandinho a start. I think this would be a good game to give Sanga his debut in too.

Sanga - Kompany - Demichellis - Kolarov

_____Nasri - Yaya - Fernandinho - Silva

____________Jovetic - Aguero

Caballero, Zabaleta, Clichy, Fernando, Milner, Navas, Aguero.

Who the fuck is Sanga?

Lets win the game before resting too many players. Just like Monday I would expect 1 change, maybe 2 at the most. We won't win the league by over rotation and we won't win it by not giving teams like sjoke full respect in our selections. In a week with a CL game would be a different matter.

I would really love a stand up for the champions chorus again, its so good when everyone stands up and we should do it at the same time every game? maybe on 20th minute or something really does make me love this club when we celebrate the title win on different days rather than the day we win it :-)

Champions......20....????

Sniff...sniff

;)

I think selection will still be influenced by the continuing need to get the squad match fit.

Sagna probably needs to play, its a long time since he's had game time and the longer that continues the more difficult it will be for him. Fernandhino has probably reached the stage where he needs to step up his involvement. I think he will start but I wouldn't be surprised to see a half time substitution involving him and Fernando.

If Dzeko is fit I don't think Aguero will start but will be introduced earlier in the game.

Good time to give Sagna and Mangala a run out.

Don't see a whole lot of players in Stoke's squad that could give us problems outside of Odemwingie.

4-0 to City.
