It seems we are going in the right diirection, if you loom at the quality we are striving for now it is much higher than say 10 years ago, at least half of these players would have been starting under the Pearce era.
We will be investing a huge sum of money into the acedemy and the outcome will be a much better chance of finding the best young players around.

Its alright saying its about developing players well how will that happen when they only play once every to months. Our reserve/youth system needs a massive re-shuffle next season.

That's what I was getting at, I doubt they actually care they won, they know how little that trophy means, just taking the piss to make the best out of losing the league like they did.

hopefully this is the end of the transitional period.
atm there are 3-4 players who could get anywhere near the first team, hopefully with the new signings the dead wood gone, there will be a much stronger team next year.
we have also learnt from the mistakes of the next gen, so it can only really go up from here.
and for those saying its only the development that matters then yes - it is. but this year there hasn't really been much. the EDS go out with a wimper in the MSC, the u18 blow the league from a seemingly unlosable position, and the NextGen league was a complete shambles.
i honestly don't think welsh should be in charge. if we want to copy La masia, then things will have to change. barca's reserve team is treated as a professional club, it isn't thrown together 2 or 3 days before big games.
our EDS need everything improving - the players, the infrastructure, the facilities, a proper stadium to play in...
if only we had the resources to finance all of this
