I personally loved the experience, thought the noise was unreal at the ground and the extent of the police escorts was new to me. Not your typical European away, but a great experience if you keep your wits about you. Yes not for everyone, and I don't condone football violence but I would definitely go back again.
Calling bullshit on that.

Staying in Sorrento on holiday two years ago we went on a day trip to Naples.
Wish we hadn't bothered, rubbish everywhere, washing hanging out of every apartment window, traffic four deep at two lane junctions, every vehicle dented or scratched and continual honking of horns or sirens wailing.
It is a complete shit-hole the sooner Vesuvius erupts the better.
Not forgetting what an arsehole the Napoli owner is!

Not sure how you want me to prove it? or why I'd post something like that if it wasn't true?
Met her outside the ground and that's what she told us anyway.
