Any news on what is happening about this matter yet?
I thought that was odd too. It could mean that a charge was made by a third party and that the FA was unable to prove said charge. Semantics I know but it makes a sort of sense to me at least.'Not proven' is an odd verdict.
Ha! Ha! I had to check I'd not lost the ability to read when I saw this post. Yep, the 4th official should know the exact details of all registered players prior to a match and it shouldn't be the responsibility of the clubs to get this right, As they jog down the tunnel, we could have the official standing there with a barrier type mechanism, letting all correctly-registered players through and holding back all the miscreants, to be placed in a special pen.A club cock up maybe, but before taking to field teamsheets are submitted, how hard is it for a fourth offical to check all players are regitered... saves future embarressment and a game being declared as a different result etc. I mean if they kick City out, fans should be reimbursed etc
