Just seen the highlights of the Notts County game, Why are the highlights of the women's matches so poor ? It's like they are done on some guys camcorder, also what a crap place to take it from ie behind/ side of the net . It like it's somebody filming their pub team on a Sunday morning !

Beattie is a weird one. She was on the bench at the Notts County game, but BBC 5live kept going on about how she had failed to return out for the second half without actually elaborating at all.

I hope this season isn't sunk before it's been launched. We toiled v County last week and the Arse will be a more direct threat with far more of a cutting edge. The 'spares' looked like they were definitely from the women's youth team! S'gonna be summat to watch. I see that BT have got this game on Monday - p'raps they're anticipating an Arse bucketful!

I didnt see the game however Dave Ewing is pretty considered in his review of the game. Been looking how the squad has been built over the season. Considering the type of players that left and had served the club well I though then these would be replaced in terms of numbers. But the squad has shrunk? I though we were only ever two injuries away from concerns. Seems that we havn't got the back up we need. Walsh is a good player but previous missed the back end of last season with a long term injury, now another and she's only 17 which is a worry. The back up full back isnt a concern, but looks like beattie would play in midfield perhaps I though another quality centre half would come in. Didnt really see the reason for a keeper as I dont think Brooks actually conceded a goal in the games she deputized for Bardsley. We have no wide players Barr Parris, instead purchased 2 more CF's. Toni is likely to pick up a knock too. Scott seems pretty bullit proof. Lookng at Arsenal it the other extreme 20 internationals.

He obviously knows best, but at present doesnt look well planned. Essentially 12 fit senior players to pick from right now, the only way the reserves will play in the WSL is if another injury happens. If Izzy comes back (unsure how long out for?) gives us 13, Campbell 14. So 14 fit senior players to pick from for half a season? If Pep / Pellegrini did similar with the first team the knives would be out. But draw your own conclusions. Only my 2p worth...lol
