Patience, C. 'Twill be on the OS, old 'un or new 'un, p'raps next month. I'd like to see how it got in again. Seemed to fizz off the ground after it got over the wall and it might have been that that did for their goalie. Good goal, but we shouldn't be hanging on till 90+3 to beat County. Mind, as it bored towards the end I feared that County would nick it!
 
At present it's how I feared. Hopefully better to come. Notts are poor and we'll be punished by a better team. Beattie is strange one, didn't know she wasn't even there. Club need to address this as not as informative as the men. Worrying thing is as the bench was full of reserves there was NO chances of the manager putting them on. Basically at the moment it's first XI or bust. Can't believe just 2 injuries have killed us, a club with these resources!!! farcical squad management. The half decent season we have had may be highlighted as only that in future!

At the moment nothing can change the game form the bench, we are predictable in a sense we only play one way. System wont be changed. Fingers crossed for Arsenal. Twitter made it sound like we dominated, consensus here is different?
 
Were the young girls on the bench the same young 'uns kickin' a ball at HT. They only looked about 14 or 15! We had a couple of injuries last season but not the blight that seems to be brewing so early. I can see a situation similar to the men - opportunities not fulfilled because we have the talent in plaster or on crutches.
 
Probably, they would be from the reserves. But saying that the men's first team have some depth. Maybe it's just me, I looked how Liverpool ladies got injuries last season, its a gamble to have 17 as a squad if you don't have faith in the reserves. Think that's why Hourihan came in. Maybe the manager doesn't have the toolset keep slightly a bigger squad happy? All about player management.


...and I take it Beattie wasn't warming up?

Cheers, if we've got patience to wait 94' for Steph's or the 93:20, I'll wait for the OS.
