What's the womens league table like now?

It's got names and numbers on it in a stacked up teamy type pointy way

Why ?

Without being sexist it is smaller, much more slimlined and doesn't quite generate the same income as a man's league table. But, thank the lord (you choose your lord) it is getting some positive PR/media attention, a decent format and investment.

Well deserved victory today and that's without start striker Tony Duggan who presumably was injured. Then another injury early in the game to Emma Lipman meant a reorganisation at the back but I think City always looked the better side and deserved the win.

Very late coming though and I wondered if Everton had cause for complaint about the keeper being baulked when the cross came over.Maybe it was one of her own players but it had been the keeper who almost got the draw for them with 2 excellent saves from headers from Steph Houghton and I think Jill Scott.

All the hard work finally paid off though when Tash Flint knocked in the loose ball for the winner.Scary though when Everton went straight down and hit the post after hardly troubling City all game till then. I just hope this sparks the team into a run of wins now.

I do think Betsy Hassett fully deserved the MotM award for her tireless running and clever midfield play.Steph Houghton was also at her best at the back and really seems a great leader and organiser of the team

Did Steph play mate and if so how did she go?

She's an Everton fan not City. She didn't play yesterday. Been a bit if squad rotation this week so she was rested.

Wrong shade of blue :-).

Steph wants City to win the league so she's not all that bad.

Our win on Sunday was in the Cup, in case you were about to ask.

Incidentally, Fu21, what's the situation on Toni Duggan? The website said she had an "enforced absence". Did I miss her getting an injury in the last game, or is it something else? Is she going to be back soon?

So you're so not arsed you decided to let the world know that twice?

Or were you just WUMming?

I think Robbos not arsed because he is a real man and doesnt think a football pitch is a place for girls. Perhaps he feels his masculinity is under threat though and he worries about the future as he is a sensitive soul.

Either way im not arsed, I like the City girls
