I do like the big commitment to the junior girls teams. Properly holistic.

One of our girls just posted a pic of herself in a Number 5 cap and thanking Rio Ferdinand, take it he has a fashion label and it's his design.

totally shitted my day up that has.

Good win tonight. 1:0. Congratulations.

Good win and well deserved I thought but there is still a lot of improvements in the team. Cracking goal by Tash Flint, great strong shot after a good run. Defensively I thought we were quite sound and it's always good to have Karen Bardsley at the back. Battled hard in midfield too but some how that final ball and even the final decision isn't right.

We struggled tonight against an offside trap that worked very well but that';s about all Notts County got right on the night. On a different night we would have finished the game with a second but every time it looked likely a last ditch tackle seemed to come in and block it.

Good fitness though and still going strong at the end.

Good solid performance across the team. Pity the sub didn't bury that chance. Was it her first touch? Pity we didn't have 1000+ tonight.

I agree it's a shame the crowd wasn't bigger but it seems to me City are not promoting the games anything like enough.

They promoted this one a fair amount more than most of the other games, and numbers were still well down on what they were at the start of the season. I suspect we might just be seeing the buzz dying down, although that would be a shame to admit. In fairness, our attendances are still comfortably above what several teams can bring.

Do they play at the regional arena or whatever it's called? If so it's terrible watching a game there.
Once they move over the road I may end up watching a few.

I agree. I have found watching at the athletic stadium difficult. Have enjoyed the footy though.

When they move to the Minihad I will go more.
