I was born on the other side of the big hill before my folks moved to Glossop in 1971. Been supporting City 40 plus years (first visit November 1980) but by your reckoning i guess that makes me not a real Blue because Glossop is just outside Manchester. Not quite Manchester. Your "revelation" suggests I've been living a lie and I'm not a "real Blue". Will I be able to live with this crushing disappointment?

What am I going to tell our Norwegian Branch who have followed City for even longer. They'll be devastated as well.
