As I said in another thread, if Eto'o was seriously gonna sign for an Uzbekistani team at one point I reckon he is motivated by money enough to overlook the step down from a CL-winning side to an up and coming one.

He was never going to sign with an Uzbek team. It was a publicity stunt by the club (Kuruvchi). He was actually there for some sort of UNDP thing if I remember correctly. But he nearly agreed to a 3 month loan with Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia. I believe Eto'o will make the move if enough money is offered. There's the racism issue and he isn't appreciated enough in Barca. I think Eto'o has what it takes to be the EPL's best striker.

what if we'd sign Tevez AND Eto'o? Would they play in the same side? Can you really play both AND Robinho?

getting a striker in the mould of benzema or eto'o is much more important than signing someone like tevez.....i just hope that the club are trying not just for tevez to solve our striking isues
