City's €140m summer will "stun English football"

To be fair to Goal.com they did get information about Soriano and Txiki and some other little bits way before anyone else so I think it is fair to say they have a decent source somewhere.

They have a bad rep from not that long ago but there alright now imo.

Yes you're right mate... Goal were the first online site to the Ferran Soriano and Txiki story before anyone...

They were utter shite a while back but I think a poster had posted something about Goal.com's entire staff and chief editor being revamped and changed to become more credible and a higher standard of quality... I think the same poster said they have a couple of well placed sources within City who inform them of these "exclusives".

Yep, and their italien sources aren't that bad either, except for the ones about Napoli and Atalanta.

Also they are getting pretty heavy on the Spanish side also, Marca lost a few of their top guns to them.

Their next step is a new look on their homepage and some transfer shows, like these ones

Their plans are to later have a channel and get some subscribers. But that's post 2020.

Well I can tell you that Greg Stobart has very good sources at Spurs and his information is often top notch for us at least. Idk if the same is true about Manchester City (I think he's a Spurs fan after all), but he's actually a good journalist imo. The caveat though is that at Spurs he gets the information that the club want to give him, which is not false per say but maybe sensationalized

Another at goal.com who gets good info is Wayne Veysey from what I've seen.

If we do the business - after net sales we could be saving on wages considering:

RSC - 100k
Toure - 115k
Bridge - 90k
Tevez - 200k

Isco - 100k
Cavani - 150k
Fernandiniho - 100k
Novatti - 40k
Possibly the best out-and-out striker in the world. There's no way he'd accept less than Tevez was being paid.

Yep, Goal have spent a lot of money on bringing in quality journalists and moving away from a football gossip website to a serious news site. They actually break quite a few exclusives now.
