Vinnie….that hard nobody ever took him on
Aleks tbf was pretty hard, I remember a time someone pushed one of our youth players over & Aleks was straight over there getting in the guy's face standing up for our kidI'm also gonna throw in Kolarov purely because of this
During the late Pellegrini era he became a right feisty little fuckSpanish Dave. Never pulled out of a challenge, got kicked all over the place every week, loved to give it back to far bigger & stronger players & 100% struck fear into the opposition
Maybe a different definition than you intended, but definitely a hard man
They had an on pitch brawl when Lee was at Derby, both got sent off and Lee went at his much taller opponent again on the way off. Wasnt backing down.Wasn't Norman Hunter meant to be terrified of Franny Lee? I've seen it mentioned in the Bell,Lee & Summerbee film when they're talking about it, plus mentioned elsewhere too.
Just saying Hunter is regarded as a supposed all time hard man of football,
many said Franny really used to scare the shit outta him.
if that's the case surely Lee defo has a case
Coton was part of a group known as The Birmingham City 6 who were apparently lively characters off the pitch, included Mick Harford, Robert Hopkins, Noel Blake, Mark Dennis, Howard Gayle.Tony Coton had a reputation as a hard man although I cannot remember any on the pitch stuff to back this up. I vaguely remember remember a story about Niall Quinn warning some fans not to pester him when they ran into the team enjoying some drinks on a pre-season tour.
Tevez was fearless and I could imagine him going toe to toe with most.Tevez was a tough man, not known for kicking people/hard tackles but he took no shit.
Barton, a flat track bully cowardThatcher and Barton come to mind. I think Viera frightened a few but never really had to do anything.
