I think I read somewhere he broke his leg before a cup match. But I could be wrong because I've never heard him mention it!!

Am I right in thinking that nobody gives a sh*t about numbers of caps in the modern era when even an OK player can rack up loads of them?

I recall at Maine Road there was a big board with the names of all the international players on it.
There was only England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Eire on it last time I saw it early 80's.
Wonder if anyone (Gary J??) knows what happened to it?

Not sure if this is true or not but I heard they have one at the Swamp for the United employees who win gongs and The Goat's name went up at the same time as Beckham's.
