None of those items are a rebuttal of what I’ve said. You seem to agree with me that the Russians have an interest in continuing and perhaps the military conflict.
Point one sounds like a conspiracy theory. It seems to come from a mindset that western powers rule the world and others don’t possess their own agency. It’s odd that the west can successfully install communists in Russia, but then failed to remove them from Vietnam or Cuba. Lenin came by train from Germany, beyond that I doubt any western powers were in control of events.
You’ve perhaps missed a point six: the Russians also committed to respecting Ukrainian territorial integrity.
Not sure why I “have to understand the Russian perspective”. I have my own perspective and I’m perfectly happy seeing things from my own point of view reflecting my own values and interests. Putin doesn’t seem to spend much energy seeing things from a Ukrainian perspective.
