Just checked the portal, unsuccessful. I had applied for the €450 euro ticket and its a week before pay day. :-D

You had until last friday to apply on the official uefa ticket portal. Got on for the Europa League final in the ballot but not the Champs league unfortunately.

So the game is a sell out, over two weeks until it's played and we still get shit about not being able to fill the ground.

To be fair I wouldn't have been surprised if there had been plenty of seats unsold until after the first leg was played, with the derby a few days before you are looking at forking out at least £100 to watch both games. Say we won the first leg 3:0 and money was tight you could understand people holding off. Also consider that the dipper fans haven't had to shell out for a League cup run including a trip to Wembley.

The fact the ground is sold out this early should be applauded rather than criticised.

Thing is the media have got there clicks and the myth of we can’t sell out and our ground is half empty every game continues plus they won’t say a thing about it being sold out now 2 weeks before the game.
