Make it fully transparent. To remove any doubt all cup draws should use the lotto machines IMO.

Sadly even with that a ball(s) slightly different in weight could still effect it.

Meh! I like our luck this year. Personally, I think we get Juventuss. And they don't worry me one bit.
In terms of preference:

Shaktar/Roma
Sevilla/United
Juventuss
Real Madrid
Bayern
Liverpool
Barcelona.

Avoiding Pool and Barca will be an acceptable draw. If you add Bayern to that list, then getting anyone else is a great draw.
