Clarkson. Finished?

Free speech is a great thing and we should all be grateful that we have it.
But free speech that directly harms someone or incites violence isn't ok.

A typical example of not ok free speech would be sitting in a crowded theatre and shouting "Fire" or "Bomb" just to get a reaction.
There is no such thing as free speech in the way people think there is.

Everyone has the right to have their voice heard (or read), a freedom of expression if you like. But there is no such thing as being able to say (or write) whatever the hell people want.

There are consequences to dis/misinforming, hate speech and inciting criminal acts (violence, arson, damage, trespassing, riots etc.). You can’t even make too much noise in certain places or certain times of day as you’ll be classed as breaching the peace, so even then you can’t always have the freedom of expression.

Well deserved, he's an obnoxious cnut.
Top Gear was full of racism, they seemed to get away with offensive remarks often, in the name of "humour"

Mexico insults (February 2011)

Richard Hammond joked that Mexican cars reflected national characteristics, saying they were “just going to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat”. May described Mexican food as “like sick with cheese on it”. Clarkson predicted they would not get any complaints because “at the Mexican embassy, the ambassador is going to be sitting there with a remote control like this [snores]. They won’t complain, it’s fine.”
