I can't believe you just said that, what with free speech being dead and that.

Clarkson is still free to say whatever he wants, maybe just to less of an audience if he loses his TV gigs. Still, Sun readers will continue to lap it up.

I read it as a genuine apology and rightly so.

What pisses me off is it’s never enough for some people. You can’t admit you made a mistake, apologise and move on these days.
