Clarkson Suspended by BBC

The RWNJs do make me laugh. They're always first to join the mob against someone they don't like calling for punishments ranging from the book being thrown at them to public stoning.

But when it's one of their own who breaks the rules they suddenly want the goalposts moved and paint that person as the victim of 'political correctness gone mad!'.
Exactly. They were queuing up a few years ago to call for the sacking of Jonathan Ross because he made a phone call. I love Clarkson's programmes, but anyone defending him over this is clearly a hypocrite of the highest order, and anyone signing a petition for him to be reinstated before they even knew what he did is clearly a moron.

I reckon James was talking about Clarksons dimissal and probably wasnt thinking about who died in a plane crash or of ebola/aids/cancer that day. Could be wrong though and he could well actually be comparing clarksons dismissal to an aeroplane crash.

Ha ha, I mentioned Clarkson applying for that job earlier one when the tow items were on the news!

That's the license fee going up or a lot of job cuts. I'd say the license fee increase.

By what contortion of logic do you come to the conclusion that the sacking of one boarish oaf will result in either an increase in the licence fee or lots of job cuts?

Top gear is the BBC's biggest export. It earns the station hundreds of millions a year. Clarkson like it or not is Top Gear. The BBC will hire someone new but the show will die a slow death and especially once Clarkson has got a new show and all the viewers flock over to watch it. The BBC will be having crisis meetings for weeks on the cost of sacking Clarkson make no mistake about it.

He's likely more concerned about his career going right down the shitter. I'm sure "jezza" will let him and the midget one tag along to wherever he ends up, though.

I think you've an over exaggerated opinion of his importance to civilisation.

James May would get enough of the "Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" style job roles to worry too much.

The car-hating, Luddite morons get something to wank themselves to sleep over and an arrogant clown gets sacked for being an arrogant clownish dickhead.
I'd have also sacked the producer for offering neither self-defence nor retaliation against the blubber-laden oaf especially as he was shouting abuse and generally ranting for around 20 minutes.
And how the hell did it take the Beeb two weeks to reach a conclusion? Half an hour to ask a few questions of witnesses and it was an open and shut case from what was revealed today.

I didn't mention civilisation all I said is the BBC has lost t's golden goose which can't be argued.

Top Gear will live on in a new politically correct era.

He's a old hag and got what he deserved, you can't have a punch up with your boss and expect to be above the rules. The arrogance of the man needed to be stopped someway he was getting too big, BBC is bigger than any one man, it is a British institution.

Why? Was she due to be the star in a reasonably priced car?

Hmmmm not sure the reputation of the BBC is glamorous as your making out, I mean if only clarkson would have indecently assaulted children, they'd have tried to hide that for years.
